Dr. Mark Means

Dr. Mark grew up in N. Ft. Myers from the age of 10 years old, went to NFM High School and graduated from Life Chiropractic College in Marrietta, Georgia in 1982. He started the Means Family Chiropractic Clinic in a small rented 800 square foot office, and once joined by his brother Dr. Rick, the two went on to build one of the largest Chiropractic offices in the Lee County/Ft. Myers area.

He has had the PRIVILEGE of helping thousands of families over the past 32 years.

He was married in 1992 to his wife Janet and they have 2 children, Kari who is presently in her 2nd year at the University of Florida for Pre-Veterinary studies to become a Veterinarian, and Travis who is a Senior at Riverdale High School in Ft. Myers, and aspiring to become a PHD in Psychology.

Dr. Mark's practice is a Full Spine Adjusting practice, with an emphasis on the Upper Cervical Area (the Top 2 vertebrae in the neck).

Through the years he has been very active in the community, especially with YOUTH orginizations, including Little League, Pop-Warner Football, and AAU Youth Baseball teams.

Other Civic organizations have included the Mason's (Past Master), Shrine, Moose Lodge, Elk Lodge, Rotary Club, and Past President of the Tri-County Chiropractic Association.

One of his GREAT JOYS was working with and providing sports activities for SPECIAL NEEDS kids in our area. AMAZING KIDS and AMAZING FAMILIES! Playing Football, Baseball, Basketball, and so many other activities, making sure they understood that they were a BIG DEAL, and making sure they had the same opportunities as every other kid.

He also is the PASTOR of the Bayshore Community Chapel, a Non-Denominational church in N. Ft. Myers. This is the church he has attended since a child. He took over after his father, Rev. Rea Means, died in 2009. His father was the minister there since they first moved to Florida in 1970.

Dr. Mark focusses on taking care of the ENTIRE family regardless of age. He also handles injuries from automobile accidents, work, and other health related issues that people suffer from throughout their body because of Nerve Interference not allowing their body to function properly.

His PASSION for helping people is as STRONG now as it was when he first began. The LASTING PURPOSE he was introduced to at Life Chiropractic College by Dr. Sid Williams continues: "LOVE, GIVE, and SERVE".

When you decide to come in, rest assured, YOU'RE IN GOOD HANDS.

BELOW IS A COPY OF DR. MARK'S PERSONAL MISSION STATEMENT, THE REASON HE'S A CHIROPRACTOR

My Chiropractic Purpose:

To CREATE, ESTABLISH, and MAINTAIN a TRUE PLACE OF HEALING.

To allow GOD to use me to care for HIS precious people so that they can enjoy their gift of life to its fullest, and be used of GOD to their fullest potential.

To be compassionate, empathetic, and attentive to the real needs of my patients and ALL who enter our PLACE OF HEALING

To Educate and Adjust as many families as possible toward their BEST health, through GOD'S GUIDING of MY hands and MY heart.

To be a good steward of what I have been BLESSED with and realize that it is not only for me, but for THEM. It is not to be taken for granted, wasted, or kept selfishly.

To accept the responsibility of being lead from within by focusing on my circle of influence (what I'm able to control), thereby doing what's truly best for my patients and not what's easiest for me. The needs of the many DO outweigh the needs of the few, or the one, or me.

To make Chiropractic available to ALL, regardless of the condition or the financial ability to pay. Understanding that as I take care of GOD'S people, HE takes care of me.

To HONESTLY care for my patients by, REALLY and TRULY, LOVING, GIVING and SERVING them to the best of my ability
